    Job Description

    Here You Will:

    The Manager, Business Strategy, NBCUniversal Entertainment will support the VP, Business Strategy in creating presentations and analyses that drive cross-portfolio initiatives and strategies. Additionally, this person will dotted line report to the VP, Universal Television Entertainment Strategy. This person will be a part of a high-impact team that works closely with Executive Management. We’re looking for a collaborative thought partner with a keen understanding of industry trends who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Create executive strategy presentations that clearly lay out analysis, findings, and strategic recommendations
    • Oversee projects and analyses that require input from key stakeholders across business units
    • Prepare background and presentation materials for meetings and manage associated follow-ups
    • Manage projects at a high-level and track timelines and context for meetings
    • Keep an active pulse and perspective on the trends across the entertainment landscape
    • Perform strategic analysis on competitors and markets to identify and evaluate new opportunities
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with members of other business units and handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Qualifications

    What You'll Need:

    • 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, business development, or investment banking
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author/ deliver presentations
    • Experience working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
    • High degree of professionalism while interacting with senior management
    • Superior strategic acumen and analytical skills
    • Proven project management skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

    What You Should Have:

    • A solid understanding of the film and TV industry and/or broader media industry and business models
    • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers
    • Highly organized and detail oriented with a proactive work-style
    • Ability to think about bigger picture strategic vision and day-to-day details

    Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time
