HCT seeks an experienced Interim Manager of Clinical Nutrition at a 240+ bed hospital in Bay Area, California. The Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manages Food & Nutrition Service, implements training programs for Food & Nutrition Services staff, and assures that established policies and procedures and compliance are maintained that govern the provision of dietetic services.
- Supervises and provides operational leadership in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the day to day operational functions.
- Responsibilities include the oversight and provision of safe, satisfying and nutritionally adequate food for patients with appropriate staff, space, equipment and supplies.
- Oversees human resources activities for the department.
- Ensures compliance with county, state and federal regulations and standards.
- Ensures patient and customer satisfaction and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient uses of resources.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's: Nutrition, Dietetics or Food Service Management or equivalent education/experience
- Certifications: RDN - Registered Dietitian; Serve Safe certified upon hire required
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years management, supervisory or team lead experience; minimum of 8 years food service management experience in an acute-care hospital or similar institution required
- Computer Skills: Skills with database, application and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
