    Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Consumer Business Partner to serve as the dedicated financial partner to our Consumer business unit. This is not a traditional FP&A role. This is a strategic finance leadership position designed for top-tier talent with consulting or investment banking backgrounds who thrive in dynamic, growth-oriented environments. In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the Residential Commercial and Operational teams to analyze financial performance, lead forecasting and budgeting, and provide real-time insights to drive subscriber growth, cost management, and strategic decision-making. You’ll be joining Brightspeed during an exciting and transformative period of growth. We are actively transitioning from a legacy copper network to a modern fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructure, unlocking new revenue potential and operational efficiency. The Consumer FP&A team plays a critical role in supporting this evolution, helping leadership make informed, data-driven decisions as we scale rapidly and aggressively expand our fiber footprint. You will be responsible for the end-to-end financial support of the Consumer segment, including monthly close support, variance analysis, budgeting, reforecasting, and input into the long-range planning process. Your partnership will help the Consumer team understand the financial impact of their actions, optimize profitability, and execute against strategic objectives. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on collaboration, has a deep understanding of revenue and cost drivers, and can communicate clearly across both finance and business functions. The FP&A team at Brightspeed plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s success and helping leadership optimize decision making. We work in a highly collaborative environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.

As a Manager, Consumer Business Partner, your duties and responsibilities will include:

    • Act as the primary finance business partner to the Consumer organization, supporting all aspects of financial planning and performance management
    • Lead monthly forecast updates, budget cycles, and variance analyses for revenue, subscriber activity, acquisition costs, and operational expense
    • Deliver insightful reporting and financial commentary to Consumer and Finance leadership.
    • Support marketing and sales teams by modeling promotional activity, acquisition costs, and retention dynamics
    • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., ARPU, churn, subscriber growth, cost-to-serve) and provide insights into trends and operational implications
    • Collaborate with FP&A consolidation teams to integrate Consumer inputs into the company’s financial outlook and long-range plans
    • Partner with accounting, billing, and analytics teams to ensure accurate data flow and reporting consistency
    • Identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth through proactive financial analysis and business engagement
