    Job Description

    This position is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive enterprise data governance and data management strategy that ensures the secure, efficient, and innovative use of Pilot’s data assets. This role drives improvements in data quality, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization fostering a culture of data literacy and compliance, directly supporting Pilot’s overall business objectives and growth.

    Essential Functions:

    1. Research and lead the execution of Data Governance Program achieving optimal data quality and data literacy
    2. Understand the data needs of stakeholders and ensure data is used effectively
    3. Enable data literacy through tools and processes that lead to better decision making
    4. Lead creation and maintenance of documentation that defines data processes, systems, standards and policies.
    5. Understand data from the corporate perspective and present data in a manner that can be understood uniformly throughout the company
    6. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization that drive adoption of data enablement tools and practices
    7. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors and various 3rd parties to ensure we are optimally resourced and establishing best practices
    8. Mentor and lead teams responsible for executing initiatives that support this strategy as well as the enterprise strategy
    9. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
    10. Complete other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field, required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Minimum five years’ working in a data & analytics role
    • Minimum three years’ leading projects and project teams
    • Minimum two years leading data governance or data management teams and programs
