    Job Description

    The Manager, Digital Analytics will join the Telemundo Strategy & Insights team within the NBC News Group, playing a key role in advancing the use of data and analytics to drive audience engagement and digital growth across Telemundo’s digital ecosystem.

    This role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics and data storytelling to inform strategic decisions across Telemundo’s digital platforms — including web, mobile apps, social media, and streaming. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights that influence content strategy, marketing, product optimization, and monetization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead analytics initiatives that evaluate digital content and audience behavior across platforms.
    • Develop actionable insights to optimize digital user experience, engagement, and retention.
    • Manage and enhance dashboards, reports, and data products that enable self-service analytics for stakeholders.
    • Partner with teams across content, marketing, product, and finance to align data-driven insights with business goals.
    • Translate complex data into clear, visually compelling stories that influence executive decision-making.
    • Identify emerging trends and digital growth opportunities through audience segmentation, funnel analysis, and predictive modeling.
    • Help evangelize a data-driven culture across Telemundo and NBC News Group, ensuring analytics are embedded in strategic planning.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, audience insights, or data strategy.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
    • Expertise in digital measurement tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Comscore, etc.).
    • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Domo.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex data for executive and creative audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate digital performance metrics into actionable insights.
    • Collaborative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience in media, entertainment, or news industries.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
    • Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting languages.
    • Understanding of audience segmentation, attribution modeling, and A/B testing.
    • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) a strong plus.
    • Strategic thinker passionate about Hispanic audiences and digital transformation.

    Additional Requirement:

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
