    Job Description

    Be a part of the exciting world of Digital Ad Sales here at NBCU. An essential component of our digital business is the ability for Account Directors and Sales Management to understand what ad inventory is available and when. The Inventory Execution team delivers sales intelligence, keeps business running smoothly, and maximizes the use of ad inventory.

    As a Manager, Digital Inventory Execution, you will be part of a team responsible for planning & yield management, forecasting & analyzing inventory and optimizing campaigns across a diverse set of video and display products across our premium NBC Universal Digital properties to ensure client delivery & revenue maximization.

    You will touch NBCU’s premium digital suite - including iconic brands such as Peacock, NBC Network, Bravo & Telemundo – as well as Versant’s best-in-class cable channels ( USA, Syfy, E!, Oxygen, CNBC and MS Now ), and will work collaboratively with a range of cross-functional partners such as network & site leaders, research, planning, sales & ad ops.

    You will also manage a team of Analysts responsible for the day-to-day support of the planning team and allocation and approval of inventory avails.

    • Provide strategic oversight and manage a team of Inventory Analysts who review advertising proposals/revision requests for the efficient allocation of inventory for campaigns running on NBCU’s premium content - Peacock, NBC, Telemundo, Today & Bravo - as well as partner content from Versant such as USA, Syfy, E!, Oxygen, CNBC and MS Now.
    • Hire, on-board, train, coach and develop talent at the Analyst & Sr. Analyst levels.
    • Act as support for Analysts on complicated inventory requests or when levels are not meeting advertiser spend.
    • Partner with other Inventory management team members and the VP to evaluate, assess and implement any/all new planning & inventory management tools and systems.
    • Delegate tasks such as maintenance of key tools on processes and assign and oversee side projects.
    • Act as a lead on campaign risk reporting and mitigation, providing guidance on ways to minimize risk on active campaigns, working with Analysts, Ad Ops, Planning and Account/Campaign Management teams.
    • Forecast, monitor and recommend appropriate inventory levels for content or new endpoints where inventory cannot be reliably predicted (new sponsorship packages upcoming partnerships, event sponsorships, etc.)
    • Consult & Advise Product Planning team on new product ideation & roll out. Determine inventory forecasting methodology for new products.
    • Work with Product Planning, BI & others to leverage AI and other tools to automate & streamline processes and the dissemination of information.
    • Provide planning team with sizing of audience and sponsorship-based products so they can make effective RateCard decisions.
    • Collaborate with the Ad Solutions team to identify challenges with inaccurate tags and where page views/streams are misaligned with impressions.
    • Continuously identify and share process improvements to increase efficiency across the broader Inventory and Planning teams.
    • Develop and publish forecasting, insights & analytics that fuel monetization opportunities of our ad inventory.
    • Collaborate with the sales and planning leadership team in providing strategic recommendations, with analytical support, on packaging products & inventory utilization.
    • Handle all ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely, efficient manner.
    • Assist with training/presentations for inventory, planning, or other cross functional teams
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in online media (3+ years) with specific experience in inventory, planning, operations, and/or yield management preferred.
    • Knowledge of financial and operational principles specifically related to digital ad sales
    • Knowledge of ad-serving systems (Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, Operative One or other OMS)
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. High proficiency in advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)

    Additional Requirements

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 + sales incentive compensation eligible
