_ About the Manager, Donation Training and Development_
The Manager, Donation Training and Development is responsible for managing donation training and development across the organization ensuring alignment of competencies and training.
Partners on the design and development of training content.
Contributes to the donation work system’s overall achievement of donation, transplant coordination, and related performance goals by ensuring the impact of training and other related interventions are applied to maximizing donation related outcomes.
Responsible for leading and training a team of Educational Program Specialists (subject matter experts and educators on various aspects of the donation work systems).
Partners with internal clients and communities of practice with common donation system related training interests.
Manages day-to-day operations of the DNA U Simulation and Skill Lab for Organ Donor Optimization.
Oversight and continuous improvement of DNA U. strategy, goals, structure, processes, and results.
Implementation of evaluation plans for learners, programs, preceptors, and trainers.
Participates in strategic planning with the Leadership Team, DNA U, Donation Work Systems, Talent and Culture, and other stakeholders.
_ Requirements_
Minimum Education:
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education/Training, or related.
Minimum Experience:
3 years in leadership (supervisory level or above).
3 years in related clinical education precepting, training, and/or directly overseeing educational programs.
Preferred Experience : 5 or more years of leadership experience in clinical training and development with an Organ Procurement Organization, or healthcare industry with similar competencies. Experience providing training on healthcare simulation programs. Experience as a clinical nurse educator, educator in an OPO (organ procurement organization), or other clinical educator positions.
Preferred Credentials: Training and Development, healthcare simulation, or other related certifications. RN, CTPC, CCTC, or other related clinical credentials.
