Job Description
1.) Lead valuation engagements for business units, investments, intangibles, and financial instruments across a variety of use cases (M&A, financial reporting, tax, strategic planning, etc.).
2.) Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, market multiples, and option pricing methodologies.
3.) Validate and communicate industry, market, and company-specific research to support valuation assumptions and benchmark data.
4.) Review high-quality valuation reports and presentations for executive leadership, auditors, investors, and regulators.
5.) Collaborate with commercial business development lead to complete financial due diligence and deal structuring in collaboration with FP&A and legal teams.
6.) Advise internal stakeholders on valuation-related topics such as goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocations, and investment performance.
7.) Stay current on relevant accounting standards, valuation methodologies, and regulatory guidance (e.g., ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 350, IRS, SEC).
8.) Collaborate with external valuation consultants and auditors to align methodologies and resolve technical matters.
9.) Present business development workstream tracking and presentation materials to the Executive Leadership Team for visibility across all business functions.
10.) Generate business development opportunities based on 2030 strategic business plan.
