  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    1.) Lead valuation engagements for business units, investments, intangibles, and financial instruments across a variety of use cases (M&A, financial reporting, tax, strategic planning, etc.).

    2.) Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, market multiples, and option pricing methodologies.

    3.) Validate and communicate industry, market, and company-specific research to support valuation assumptions and benchmark data.

    4.) Review high-quality valuation reports and presentations for executive leadership, auditors, investors, and regulators.

    5.) Collaborate with commercial business development lead to complete financial due diligence and deal structuring in collaboration with FP&A and legal teams.

    6.) Advise internal stakeholders on valuation-related topics such as goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocations, and investment performance.

    7.) Stay current on relevant accounting standards, valuation methodologies, and regulatory guidance (e.g., ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 350, IRS, SEC).

    8.) Collaborate with external valuation consultants and auditors to align methodologies and resolve technical matters.

    9.) Present business development workstream tracking and presentation materials to the Executive Leadership Team for visibility across all business functions.

    10.) Generate business development opportunities based on 2030 strategic business plan.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, mathematics or a related field required
    • Master’s degree, or professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser), ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) or CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in valuation, financial modelling/analysis, business modelling, FP&A, or transaction advisory
    • Proven skill in financial modelling (e.g., discounted cash flow models, comparative company/transaction analysis), building complex model frameworks, and interpreting quantitative outputs.
    • Strong understanding of accounting, finance theory (risk & return, capital budgeting), valuation methodologies, and how they apply in transactions, regulatory reporting, or strategic decision-making
    • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools/software; escalation in data analytics, visualization tools may be required (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
    • Ability to lead project and manage teams or
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to present complex analysis clearly to stakeholders, clients, senior management
    • Strong business judgment, commercial awareness, ability to interpret business drivers, think strategically, and make informed recommendations
    • Excellent project management skills navigating multiple deliverables, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality under pressure
    • Attention to detail and strong work ethic with the ability to challenge assumptions, ensure accuracy, and maintain high standards
