    Job Description

    As Manager of Enterprise Analytics, your goal is to unlock insights that drive the business—supporting strategic decision-making, performance management, and experimentation across our platform marketplace. This role is responsible for analyzing customer behavior, marketplace dynamics, and operational performance to provide visibility and optimize key business initiatives.

    You will lead a team of 6 analysts, bringing a clear vision for what a high-performing analytics team looks like. You will be responsible for developing your team through defined individual contributor (IC) roadmaps, fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership, and vocal partnership across the organization.

    This role partners closely with business and technical leadership across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to ensure high-quality data is leveraged effectively. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and hands-on experience using AI tools and workflows to accelerate insights and decision-making.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead and develop a team of 7 analysts, setting a clear vision for team success and establishing best practices for analytics within a platform marketplace environment
    • Define and drive IC development plans and career roadmaps, ensuring continuous growth and skill advancement across the team
    • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and proactive communication—encouraging team members to be vocal and influential partners to the business
    • Leverage AI tools and modern analytics workflows to improve efficiency, insight generation, and decision support across day-to-day operations
    • Support the data infrastructure, on-site testing strategy, and insight generation to grow our Care.com marketplace business
    • Establish and maintain tracking of key business and marketplace metrics, identifying trends and driving improvements
    • Collaborate with Data Science, Infrastructure, and other Analytics teams using tools such as Tableau and SQL to deliver timely performance insights
    • Communicate clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
    • Translate business needs into analytical frameworks, documenting methodologies and presenting results
    • Build and maintain dashboards to track product usage, customer behavior, and marketplace performance
    • Interpret results using a variety of techniques, from exploratory data analysis to more advanced statistical approaches
    • Work with large, complex datasets across multiple domains (product, customer, marketplace, and operations) to generate insights that inform decision-making
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of relevant analytical experience working with large datasets and delivering insights
    • 3+ years of experience managing or mentoring analysts
    • Experience working in platform marketplace or two-sided marketplace environments
    • Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation, or advanced analytics workflows) into day-to-day analytical work
    • Strong ability to define team vision, set priorities, and develop talent through structured IC development plans
    • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and clear communication
    • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics tools
    • Experience mentoring and developing analysts in a team environment
    • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau
    • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
    • Experience supporting A/B testing frameworks and measurement
    • Solid understanding of database and data warehousing concepts
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field is preferred

    Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
