    This position is 100% onsite

    The Manager, Epic Training is responsible for the following three categories: classroom administration and planning; end‐user engagement and change management; and long‐term training coordination and leadership. Responsible for communicating training policies and procedures across the organization, coordinating role analysis, which maps staff and providers to required training. Coordinating all classroom and equipment aspects of Epic‐led virtual training for staff and providers.

    Required Skills

    • Strong understanding of training and education workflows

    • Proven leadership and team management skills to handle large projects and delegate to and direct staff

    • Ability to prioritize work efforts and adapt in a fast-paced environment

    • To provide support, guidance, and mentorship to training analysts

    • Ability to coordinate and track training sessions

    • Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to clearly communicate results

    • Ability to lead others and to communicate the importance of training and engagement to all stakeholders

    • Experience with project management and marketing and communications

    • Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to sequence activities logically

    • Ability to develop and adhere to schedules in order to meet project deadlines

    • Interpersonal skills to function well in administrative, management, and patient care environments

    • Ability to work effectively with staff that have a wide range of seniority

    • Excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling for use in both verbal and written communication

    • Ability to use PC‐based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree or a license/certification in a clinical specialty

    • Minimum 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an EHR analyst, trainer, or manager role

    Preferred:

    • Minimum 2 years of management experience

    • Experience working as an EHR trainer

    • Existing knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, and processes

    • Prior experience attending an application fundamentals class at Epic, such as EpicCare Inpatient Fundamentals or EpicCare Ambulatory Fundamentals to become familiar with the look and feel of the system and experience Epic training firsthand
