    Job Description

    The Manager Content Finance, Entertainment will report to the VP Content Finance, Entertainment and support certain financial functions across USA, E!, SYFY, and Oxygen. The Manager role requires strong attention to detail, high standards for quality and accuracy, and the ability to work cross-functionally between Scheduling, Controllership, Business Affairs, and Creative & Finance Senior Management to provide traditional operational and finance support for our entertainment programming.

    ** Responsibilities**

    • Oversee all financial aspects of programming budgets, including Original Series, Specials, Development, and Acquisitions.
    • Manage P&L and cash forecasts for monthly pacing, annual budget, quarterly estimates and long range plans; perform adhoc strategic and financial analysis to support overall network strategy.
    • Partner with Controllership on the programming amortization model
    • Partner with operators to conduct scenario planning and financial impact of scheduling changes.
    • Own greenlight analysis and proforma P&L’s for Original and Acquired programming
    • Conduct post-mortem show profitability analysis
    • Other ad hoc projects and requests as assigned by the VP and CFO.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of five years' experience in progressive Operational Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis roles
    • Solid financial modeling skills
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and complex information, and present succinctly to executives and stakeholders at all levels
    • Preferred: previous experience in a media company, streaming service, or direct-to-consumer business.

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
