    Job Description

    This position will support the lean and critical Global Procurement organization for Versant in a variety of aspects.

    1. Procurement Operations and Initiatives 1. Procurement Information Management and Analytics 2. Ad hoc projects supporting Procurement goals and objectives. 3. Liaison to Global Finance Office P2P 4. Managing Procurement Operations Supplier Relationships

    2. Sub-Category Management 1. Support senior Procurement team. Exposure to all Procurement categories as a Generalist, including but not limited to Professional Services, Technology, Facilities, HR/Benefits and Marketing. 2. Strategy implementation, procurement initiatives, RFP activities, agreement negotiations, vendor and strategy management. 3. Act as liaison between the sourcing organization, stakeholders and other corporate functions involved in the procurement process. 4. Create a solid relationship with stakeholders; maintain a trustworthy work ethic and a team environment. Partner with Business Stakeholders to drive global enterprise deals and agreements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for timely execution of projects, coordinating efforts across all stakeholders and participating functions like, legal, finance, information security and governance
    • Manage vendor relationships
    • Maintain accurate spend and contract-related data in numerous databases
    • Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
    • 5+ years experience in sourcing and procurement
    • Solid commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and support the legal department
    • Excellent work ethic
    • Solid financial acumen, strong data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel based analytics such as pivot tables and other advanced functions
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to interact at all levels of management in a mesh organization

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Proactive self-starter, able to identify and take the lead on initiatives
    • Quick to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
    • Thrives on learning new things.
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Media and Entertainment Industry experience recommended
    • Great time management skills and strong multitasker

    Additional Requirements

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.
    • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
