    Your Impact in This Role:

    We are looking for a Manager- IT Applications, who will closely work with our customers across Sales & Marketing, Customer service, eCommerce. Manager- IT Applications will help execute the Fortune Brands Innovations digital strategy in alignment with business strategies. In this role you will work closely with Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, eCommerce, Logistics, and finance to enable our fast-paced business to grow and evolve. You will be working for our high-performing team, focused on the timely delivery of software initiatives on the various enterprise platforms.

    Position location – Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) - Deerfield, IL.

    • Creating the team strategy including planning, forecasting, and monitoring your teams work
    • Running scrum and ensuring your customer needs are being met by certifying deliverables and ensuring no impediments
    • Supporting the applications Change, Compliance, Performance, and Problem management processes
    • Bringing effective product support techniques to reduce defects
    • Collaborating with cross functional teams within IT and throughout the business to identify top initiatives
    • Seeking out innovation in everyday activities
    • Demonstrating enthusiasm for building great, customer-friendly teams
    • Ability to express ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Your Technical Expertise & Skills:

    • Bachelors level degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • 8+ Years of Team Management experience in a capacity of Manager
    • 6+ Years of working experience with B2B applications developed using Web technologies
    • 6+ Years of experience with .Net Framework, SQL Server and Azure Applications
    • A track record of managing applications and 5+ member team supporting below technology platform
      • Web Tools: HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, & Ajax
      • Microsoft: MVC 4/5, Entity FW, LINQ, Bootstrap, JavaScript
      • API: Web Services, Web API, any other API platforms
      • Database: Microsoft SQL Server (5+ years’ experience)
      • CMS: SharePoint online, Sitecore, WordPress, Shopify (any two platforms )
    • Experience with Understanding of design patterns, UX/UI design, best practices, technical architecture and data modelling
    • Experience with application rationalization, migration from old platforms to newer platforms
    • Good leadership, communication, and people management skills
    • Good understanding and working experience with Agile methodology using scrum/Kanban/xp
    • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
    • Experience working on the enterprise platforms and open-source technologies
    • Knowledge of enterprise applications, Oracle and RPA platforms
    • Plus: Certifications on Microsoft Technologies, and Project/Scrum Management (CSM/ACP/SAFe/PMP)
