The Manager in Training program is designed to prepare you to lead all aspects of store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will gain hands-on experience managing daily activities, including customer service, inventory management, sales, and team coordination, while ensuring smooth and efficient store operations. This role focuses on creating a positive, welcoming shopping experience for customers and fostering a productive, engaged work environment for staff. Reporting to the District Manager, you will receive mentorship and guidance to develop the leadership skills needed to successfully advance into a Store Manager role. Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with the District Manager regarding any operational issues or challenges and collaborate on developing and executing corrective action plans to address identified problems • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor • Complete routine administrative and clerical responsibilities to support store operations • Maintain the safety and security of the premises and merchandise by deterring theft, conducting emergency drills, ensuring a safe environment, and filling in for other store employees as required to cover scheduling gaps • Recruit, train, and manage staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for performance and conduct Qualifications: • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, customers, and management • Reliable transportation required, along with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to travel to different job sites • High school diploma or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one through The Excel Center • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience • Knowledge of product merchandising techniques and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive store atmosphere Compensation: $47,300
