Job Summary

We are seeking a Non Emergency Medical Transportation Manager to join the team! As our Non Emergency Medical Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and training the drivers who pick up and drop off clients at various locations with wheelchair and gurneys. You will be overseeing the drivers to make sure their performance is at the satisfactory level. You must have previous experience in nonemergency medical transportation with wheelchairs and gurneys to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the client transportation experience and interact with drivers. Conduct reviews for drivers

Develop safety protocols, inspect drivers vehicles for cleanliness and for safety

Arrange maintenance and repairs on vehicles as needed, keeping track of our company fleet

Keep track of vehicle inspections, ensuring drivers are meeting daily inspection expectations.

Receive and respond to feedback from clients

Coordinate schedules and vehicles for drivers

Handle dispatch issues as they arise, including working around last-minute changes

Create a positive, healthy work environment for both office staff and transportation staff

Recruit and train new employees

Retrain and discipline drivers as necessary

Qualifications

Must have previous experience in nonemergency medical transportation.

Must have gurney transportation experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.
