Position Summary: The Manager of Finance and Operations will oversee the financial health and operational effectiveness of our company. They will be a key member of our leadership team and help drive the company's growth in the coming years. This individual will ensure that our financial and operational processes support our reputation for doing it right every time, getting better every day, and working proactively as a team. Responsibilities: • Oversee all daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger maintenance with meticulous attention to detail. • Develop and maintain precise job costing, WIP reports, and project budgets to ensure projects are executed profitably and accurately. • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to drive continuous improvement. • Monitor cash flow, project billing, and collections to maintain strong working capital and project delivery. • Partner with project managers to support budget tracking, cost control, and timely reporting. • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations that support exceptional client service and long-term company goals. • Liaise with external accountants, banks, and insurance providers to ensure compliance and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. • At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting; construction industry experience is strongly preferred. • Proficiency in both Buildertrend project management software and QuickBooks is strongly preferred. • Solid understanding of construction project accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Clear, proactive communicator who works collaboratively. • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing company. Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
