HCT seeks an experienced Nurse professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of OR and PACU at a 300+ bed hospital in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the Operating Room (OR) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular, Plastic Surgery, Pediatrics, Hand Surgery, and Eye Surgery; everything except Neuro procedures. 
• Creating and overseeing block schedules for nursing staff.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred, or enrolled in a master’s degree program
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of operating room and PACU leadership experience combined with direct, clinical experience working in in the OR and/or PACU; strong leadership skills, team work, and uplifting the morale in the units
• License: State of Massachusetts RN license in good standing
• Certifications: CNOR & BLS required
• Computer Skills: EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) experience
