HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Patient Safety & Risk Manager at a 350+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the Patient Safety Program, including the Patient Safety Plan requirements for the collection, analysis and reporting of events and patient safety data, investigation of events and near misses.
- Ensuring all accreditation and regulatory requirements for patient safety are fully met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of risk management, patient safety and/or other related professional experience within an acute care hospital setting including event reporting, investigations, RCA's, patient compliant/grievance investigations and resolution.
- Licensure: CA RN required
- EMR: Cerner
