Your Career
We are seeking a dynamic and capable Production Engineering Manager to lead a team within our Cortex Production Engineering group based at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. The Production Engineering team plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and availability of the production environment hosting Cortex products. This team also supports the Cortex R&D team through the use of CI tools, infrastructure, and automation.
Your Impact
Lead and manage a team of Production Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
Improve Production support processes in the DevOps org and in engineering
Track KPIs of oncall alerts and support tickets
Work on maintaining and enhancing the reliability and availability of our SaaS products.
Support the operations for the production of our SaaS cybersecurity product, ensuring good service levels.
Assist in the implementation of automated remediation tools for known issues, security measures, and monitoring within our cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to reviewing existing processes, technologies, and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including InfoSec, development, and QA.
Work on Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to manage and orchestrate our cloud deployment.
Assist in managing cloud environments, including Kubernetes clusters.
Participate in incident response and on-call rotation, supporting applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Your Experience
5+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE/Technical Support engineer, with a focus on reliability.
2+ years of experience in a team lead or management role.
Experience with scripting languages such as Shell scripts and Python, and a basic understanding of Linux systems.
Experience with virtualized and containerized environments, including Kubernetes and Docker.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to new technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platform operations (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) is advantageous.
Basic understanding of CI/CD and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jenkins) is advantageous.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $165,000 - $240,000/YR.
