    • Ensure purchase orders are placed accurately and aligned with forecasts, inventory requirements, and supplier lead times.
    • Monitor open orders, ETAs, supplier commitments, and inbound shipments to proactively prevent stockouts.
    • Escalate delays, shortages, and supplier issues while driving timely resolutions.
    • Improve procurement workflows, reporting, KPIs, and operational processes to increase efficiency.
    • Partner closely with Sourcing, Planning, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
    • Ensure procurement documentation, invoices, payments, and shipment records are completed accurately and on time.

    Must-Haves

    • Experience leading an office-based procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or order management team.
    • Proven experience managing and developing professional employees through KPIs, coaching, and accountability.
    • Strong understanding of purchasing operations, supplier management, inventory flow, and purchase order execution.
    • Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel and ERP experience.
    • Ability to identify operational risks early and drive effective solutions.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment.

    Preferred Experience

    • Domestic and international purchasing.
    • Container, freight, or inbound logistics coordination.
    • Manufacturing or distribution environment.
    • Forecast-driven purchasing and inventory planning.
    • Continuous process improvement and workflow optimization.

    Success Measures

    • Buyers consistently achieve performance expectations and KPIs.
    • Purchase orders are executed accurately and on time.
    • Inventory shortages and production disruptions are minimized.
    • Supplier issues are identified early and resolved quickly.
    • Procurement processes become more efficient, scalable, and accountable.
    • Strong collaboration across Procurement, Sourcing, Planning, Warehouse, and Operations.

    What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops high-performing teams, solves problems before they become emergencies, and continuously improves how procurement operates. You'll combine operational discipline with analytical thinking to ensure materials are available when needed while driving accountability across the department.

If you're looking for an opportunity to lead an established procurement team, improve operational performance, and grow with a rapidly expanding organization, we'd like to hear from you.
