    Job Description

    _ About the Manager, Talent Management & Culture_

    Donor Network of Arizona (DNA) is seeking a collaborative and mission-driven human resources leader to oversee the daily operations of our Talent Management & Culture department. In this essential leadership role, you will ensure DNA has a talented, engaged, and supported workforce equipped to serve our life-saving mission.

    The Manager, Talent Management & Culture is responsible for leading the team that delivers critical HR services across the employee lifecycle — from hiring and onboarding to employee relations, benefits, compensation, and safety. This leader will partner closely with organizational leaders to align talent strategies with mission priorities and foster a consistently positive employee experience.

    _ Strategic Talent Leadership_

    • Lead day-to-day operations of the Talent Management & Culture department, ensuring alignment with DNA’s mission and strategic priorities.
    • Foster a high-performance culture across the Talent Management & Culture team through coaching, development, and accountability.
    • Partner with the Director, Talent Management & Culture to implement functional goals, strategies, and initiatives.

    _ HR Operations & Compliance_

    • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, and HR systems.
    • Ensure departmental SOPs and practices comply with all legal, regulatory, and accrediting standards.
    • Monitor HR metrics and dashboards to assess performance and inform continuous improvement.

    _ Employee Relations & Performance Support_

    • Provide counsel to leaders and staff on performance, corrective action, and employee relations matters.
    • Lead internal investigations and ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant processes.
    • Support a healthy, inclusive work environment through coaching, conflict resolution, and policy administration.

    _ Total Rewards & Compensation_

    • Oversee job evaluations, market benchmarking, and compensation planning.
    • Partner on the management and communication of employee benefit and wellness programs.
    • Ensure competitiveness, equity, and compliance in total rewards practices.

    _ Employee Experience & Engagement_

    • Champion a positive and equitable employee experience across all touchpoints.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, communication, and feedback.
    • Represent Talent Management & Culture on cross-functional projects and committees.

    _ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion_

    • Ensure DE&I principles are embedded in all talent policies, processes, and practices.
    • Support DE&I programs and committees with coaching, education, and program design.

    ** Health & Safety Program Oversight**

    • Oversee organizational safety and injury prevention programs in alignment with OSHA and other best practices.
    • Support emergency preparedness, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives.

    _ Leadership Collaboration_

    • Serve on DNA’s Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy and workforce planning.
    • Build strong partnerships with department leaders to deliver tailored HR support and talent strategies.

    _ Requirements_

    Minimum Education:

    Bachelor’s degree
    PHR, SHRM-CP, CHHR, or equivalent certification

    Minimum Experience:

    5 years of progressive HR experience
    3 years of HR leadership experience
    Experience at the supervisor level or above

    Preferred Experience: Advanced degree (Master’s, JD, etc.) SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or other senior-level HR certification. 7+ years in HR or talent management roles. Experience in healthcare or mission-driven nonprofits.
