Overview

The Treasury team’s responsibilities include capital markets activities, rating agency initiatives, corporate finance analysis and cash management. This position’s primary responsibilities will include driving the Treasury team’s balance sheet, and broader corporate finance analysis, building detailed and sophisticated financial models, working with management on complex capital markets transactions and helping in the creation of content to position key developments and considerations for the Company’s Board of Directors.

The Treasury department is a dynamic and fast paced organization. As such, the successful candidate should have strong initiative, high attention to detail, experience developing balance sheet, earnings and cash flow models, and the ability to work proactively in a team environment and on multiple assignments. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills and be an effective communicator who can collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the company and external banking partners. This role will primarily be responsible for providing support and financial modelling that will be utilized by senior and executive leadership for corporate finance and treasury decision-making purposes across SpinCo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a corporate financial model to produce scenario analysis across various underlying assumptions including different return of capital, strategic and market scenarios
• Assist in the preparation of corporate finance presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders including senior management and the Board of Directors
• Work with the Treasury leadership team on financing, rating agency, hedging and bank relations initiatives
• Participate in special p
• rojects to support the long-term strategy of the Treasury department
• Prepare materials for internal and external auditors as requested

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred but not required and five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of investment banking experience
• Solid knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance and the financial markets
• Experience doing analysis regarding balance sheet scenarios for rating agency purposes
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• The ability to write, speak and present effectively
• Understanding of macroeconomics, financial principles, and business statistics/analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling
• Must be comfortable with treasury and corporate finance related topics with a constant eye on process improvement and creating efficiencies through technology

Desired Characteristics:

• Skilled in financial modeling, analytical and quantitative skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with managing competing projects and deliverables on tight timelines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and Power BI Reporting and Dashboards, a plus
• Proficient at creating managerial level presentations and analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, written, & listening)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and fluid environment
• Elevated attention to details
• Knowledge of media industry not required, but a plus

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
