    Job Description: The Bourbon Group, one of Salt Lake City’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking Managers to join our downtown teams!

    Our menu highlights our craft kitchen items, prepared using locally sourced ingredients. We also feature a full bar that includes an impressive selection of wine and craft beers.

    The Bourbon Group Manager position is committed to creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Managers should be warm and welcoming promoting a comfortable drinking and dining environment. Managers are always on time and prepared for their shifts. They go out of their way to please the guest and are never inconvenienced by special requests. Managers must communicate clearly with diners to meet their needs and display extensive knowledge of the menu and products. The Manager is expected to promote teamwork by cooperating with management and collaborating whenever possible with other team members.

    Job Summary

    Full-Time Manager- Based on experience, plus a monthly bonus

    Responsibilities

    Manages front of house team during scheduled floor shifts ensuring that all store operations are running smoothly

    Engages with guests during floor shift striving for 100% table and bar touches with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction

    Oversees all aspects of service team operations including, but not limited to managing the floor, communicating staffing needs, scheduling, inventory, facility maintenance, continued staff education and training and maintaining opening/running/closing duties.

    Practices responsible alcohol service and expects/ensures the same from staff

    Holds staff accountable for maintaining a high standard of service by following Easy Tiger Steps of Service guidelines.

    Works with management/hourly staff to ensure P&L execution and meeting or beating labor and paper product costs.

    Controls inventory and preparation levels to minimize overstock items and waste

    Maintains and oversees cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of FOH Facilities including dining rooms

    Provides feedback in order to manage major vendor relationships, pricing, and contracts

    Conducts staff meetings when necessary, shift meetings every day and keeps staff informed on new developments and upcoming events

    Maintains current Food Handler certifications for staff and managers

    Qualifications

    Current Utah Food Handler and DABC Certifications are required within 30 days of hire

    High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Two (2) years minimum management experience

    Proven leadership and motivational skills

    Displays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Excellence guest relations skills

    High guest satisfaction expectations and focus

    Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft & Google Suite) and office skills required

    Bourbon Group offers medical, dental, and vision benefits to all of our full-time (30+ hours/week) Team Members. The Bourbon Group pays 65% of medical for qualified Team Members. Eligibility begins the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

    Perks: Team Members receive 50% off meals on and off shift. This discount extends to 3 guests when dining off duty. Discount is available at all our locations.

    Paid Vacation: Management receives two weeks of paid vacation per year. Vacation increases to three weeks following 5 years of employment.
