    NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally.     Job Description:

    The Manager, Worldwide Local Platforms oversees operations for the servicing of feature and episodic materials to Worldwide linear and streaming clients who license content from NBCUniversal. This position will be responsible for maintaining and establishing efficient workflows to deliver required content to clients in a timely manner and in accordance with contractual terms. This position will be reporting to the Director, Domestic Servicing.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee materials servicing for Free TV, Pay TV, Basic Cable, and Subscription on Demand clients for Feature Film and Television product in Worldwide markets including video, closed captions, audio description, and localized assets
    • Review contractual terms to determine their impact on operations, and ensure license agreements are properly approved before the delivery of assets
    • Create and update purchase orders in proprietary sales and licensing system with relevant delivery and invoice information in a timely manner
    • Manage and complete the research and ordering process for materials needed to fulfill contractual requirements in accordance with department service level agreements, and as requested by clients for time sensitive releases
    • Proactively investigate and resolve material rejections
    • Partner with Mastering, Servicing, Marketing, and Technical Operations teams along with outside Post Production and Storage facilities to ensure that all necessary materials are properly created and provided to licensees
    • Run bi-weekly and monthly reports of all product licensed out of proprietary sales and licensing system to provide status of servicing to executive management for revenue recognition
    • Analyze new licensee technical specifications for onboarding and advise management on cost implications along with alignment of contractual obligations
    • Improve, establish, and implement processes and policies to increase efficiency and productivity across applicable product lines as well as drafting and updating these workflows as necessary

    Basic Requirements:

    • Minimum BA or equivalent Degree
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in videotape and/or digital operations including at least 1 year managing or mentoring growth in technical, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Intermediate knowledge of videotape, digital encoding formats and electronic delivery methods
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote and SharePoint)
    • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including Macros (VBA), Databases, Pivot Tables, and Advanced Formulas

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience servicing linear and streaming clients including managing client inquiries and partnering cross‑functionally to resolve issues

    • Ability to monitor delivery of day and date episodic content during the evening and on weekends, as needed.

    Additional Requirements:

    ** Hybrid:** This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
