    Do you love dogs and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? The Dog Stop Knoxville is growing, and we’re searching for an enthusiastic Part-Time In-Training Manager to grow with us! While this position averages 10–20 hours per week, it can expand to 30–40 hours per week if combined with our Canine Handler role at an adjusted pay rate.

    What We’re Looking For

    Weekend & holiday availability is a must (at least one weekend day every week)

    Knowledge of dog behavior and prior experience in the dog care industry (required)

    A positive attitude, outgoing personality, and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our canine and human clients

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and think quickly on your feet

    Experience in management, coaching, or mentorship is preferred but not required

    Key Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Supervising and directing safe, positive group play

    Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for guests

    Overseeing staff and canine interactions

    Managing back-of-house operations

    Implementing and training on corporate policies

    Identifying dog play styles and behaviors and responding proactively

    Ensuring guests and their owners feel comfortable and receive the level of service they’ve come to expect from The Dog Stop

    Contributing to a positive team environment

    What We Offer

    Part-time role averaging 10–20 hours per week (hours may be higher or lower based on scheduling needs)

    Option to combine this position with our Canine Handler role for additional hours at an adjusted pay rate
