Manager, Data Engineering | St. Louis, MO (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Manager of Data Engineering to lead the modernization of an enterprise data platform.

In this highly visible leadership role, you’ll guide a talented team of engineers in building scalable, cloud-based data solutions that power analytics, financial reporting, and AI initiatives across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making and shape the company’s digital future.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing data engineering & AI/ML team.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that connect financial, operational, and analytical systems.
• Drive modernization using platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Champion data governance, security, and quality.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted actionable insight.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in data engineering with a solid understanding of cloud platforms, data lake architecture, and enterprise data warehousing.
• 3–5 years leadership or team lead capacity.
• Proven experience in system development and project management.
• Preferred experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric, Power BI.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies, including API integration, Alteryx, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or Azure Data Factory
