    Job Description

    The Manager of ERP Systems is responsible for the build, support, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of the SAP platforms including S4 Hana, BTP IS, BTP Applications, Cloud Connector, IBP, CPIDS, PIPO, SAP AMQ, and SFTP File Servers and respective applications built upon it. The platform leader will develop strategic plans for the team’s operation and lead the team in executing that strategy. They will partner with internal business teams, such as Supply Chain, Finance, and @Retail, and external vendors to ensure that the SAP platform team is delivering and maintaining solutions that meet Domino’s business needs. This role leads several teams including system engineers, functional support analysts, system integration, administration, and security.

    In addition, the Manager of ERP systems will lead the DevOps Center of Excellence teams. This leader will manage the intake, delivery, and support of IT initiatives across various business and technology domains. They will also establish and communicate policies, procedures, and best practices for development, testing, and release management, as well as coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, audit, security, and cross-functional SMEs. Additionally, they will provide performance feedback and career development for their team members.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ****

    (50%) Lead the design, build, test, deployment, and support of business solutions across the SAP Platform.

    • Provide functional and technical leadership to SAP engineering, support, and administration teams.
    • Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring that standard options are proposed, avoiding customization while continuing to satisfy business needs.
    • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and other business stakeholders and product owners to understand desired business capabilities and outcomes.
    • Follow architectural standards for creating and maintaining IT solutions and components, including databases, integrations, and reports.
    • Ensure that solution design aligns with the long-term capability goals of the platform and the Enterprise Systems landscape and guidelines.
    • Review data streams to ensure proper management and integration across the technology ecosystem.
    • Coordinate with system and software engineers to ensure interoperability of solutions.
    • Support all SOX/Audit technical reviews for SAP and non-SAP applications.
    • Partner with security and other SMEs to resolve compliance, pen testing and mitigation issues.
    • Update and refine work plans with the business, product, and development teams to meet business objectives and timelines.
    • Prepare project estimates and resource plans for development and implementation.
    • Plan and review work with the platform team regularly, focusing on quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
    • Oversee platform activities, including system design, configuration, development, administration, documentation, testing, and implementation.
    • Govern support activities related to the platform, including on-call support, incident management, quality issues, production builds, etc.
    • Participate in role review processes, refine business needs and facilitate changes to production.
    • Serve as the escalation point for SAP incidents, providing on-call support as necessary.
    • Oversee system health checks and maintenance patching schedule, ensuring the reliability and supportability of the SAP ecosystem.
    • Manage a blended resource model including employees, onshore and offshore contractors, and managed services vendors.
    • Provide performance-related feedback to strengthen the team’s competencies and delivery.
    • Monitor and build bench depth and cross-training to grow team members’ careers.

    (25%) Technical Resource Management and SAP Vendor Relationship and Escalation for respective technology platforms.

    • Promote standardized processes over ad-hoc exceptions—drive toward scalable best practices.

    • Work closely with delivery partners to evaluate what’s working and what needs improvement.
    • Reinforce a culture of accountability and ownership among all team members.
    • Foster a respectful and inclusive team culture that encourages retention and long-term commitment.
    • Participate in weekly ECS meetings to align on system updates, raise concerns, and manage follow-up actions.
    • Leverage strong working relationships with teams for platform escalations—demand additional support as needed during high-risk periods.

    (25%) Lead the DevOps Center of Excellence in establishing guidelines and best practices to deliver and support technology solutions across enterprise business verticals and respective technology platforms.

    • Document, maintain, and communicate IT processes, workflows, standards, initiative status, policies, and procedures
    • Design and establish policies, procedures, and best practices governing the overall approach for enterprise test management and release management.
    • Collaborate with Program and Portfolio Management establishing, enabling, and improving project management and software development methodologies, procedures, and policies
    • Collaborate with business and technology to establish and analyze testing needs.
    • Works with IT and Business leadership to ensure testing strategies and master test plans are defined to support overall testing objectives and communicated to meet business/enterprise needs.
    • Collaborate with leadership and teams to continually improve and enforce QA processes, standards, and metrics for various projects.
    • Guide the design, development, and implementation of testing and automation components.
    • Communicate to executives and business stakeholders the resource and process needs to ensure alignment with customer, IT, and industry standards.
    • Develop team members to increase the bench strength and flexibility of the department. Ensure that all team members are appropriately trained and have the resources to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in SAP projects in Development, Testing, and Operations
    • 5+ years of experience in ABAP Development, SAP middleware & integrations, and/or Basis.
    • Minimum 5 years of overall experience developing and configuring solutions in SAP
    • 3+ years of configuration experience in Sales & Distribution & EWM (or WM) modules is a plus
    • Strong ABAP debugging, ABAP query reporting, mass data upload and problem-solving skills are required
    • Strong knowledge of SAP Middleware technologies including PO/PI & CPI
    • Broad knowledge and configuration experience of supply chain processes & associated SAP technologies for Order to Cash & Warehouse Management. S4 Finance experience is a plus.
    • Knowledge about IDOC, BAPI/RFC and third-party system integration is desirable.
    • Strong SAP application, interface and code development knowledge from basic ABAP through advanced technologies like user exits, function modules, BADIs, Proxies, SAP Cloud extensions, BTP build, CI/CD for SAP cloud development, Cloud foundry and ABAP etc.
    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
    • Proven track record of process development, systems optimization and continuous improvement
    • Proven track record for managing contractors both off-shore and on-shore
    • Strong communication (oral/written), analytical, and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence business process & technical owners to adopt changes & standards
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
    • Ability to work independently, owning and managing several initiatives at once
    • Ability to provide thought leadership on best practices around enterprise application integrations
    • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and Access
