You’ll lead a team developing complex consumer electrical/electronic products while staying deeply involved in the technical work yourself. Your Day-to-Day
Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers across multiple concurrent product development programs
Provide daily technical oversight for electrical and electronic design, validation, and integration
Own projects from concept through launch—plans, milestones, resources, schedules, and cost targets
Drive adoption of new technologies, modern design methodologies, and best-practice engineering standards
Review designs and project activities to ensure compliance with development guidelines and quality expectations
Partner cross-functionally with mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and other engineering teams to ensure cohesive product design
Establish and maintain design practices that maximize productivity and product quality
Act as a subject-matter expert to resolve complex technical challenges internally and externally
Research vendors and manage contracted product development efforts
Evaluate and recommend engineering or process changes that improve productivity and performance
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
7+ years of electrical engineering experience, including leadership of complex consumer products
Advanced expertise in electrical/electronic circuit design, testing, and evaluation
Proven ability to lead engineers, manage performance, and develop high-performing teams
Strong project leadership experience from concept through commercialization
Working knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing principles, including:
Pressure sealing
Plastic injection-molded parts
Polymers, plastics, and metals
Aluminum die casting, extrusions, and metal stamping
Mechanical assemblies and test equipment
Business acumen related to product cost, tooling, labor, margins, and departmental budgeting
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced engineering analysis, simulation, and design tools
