FP&A Manager – IT Business Partner
A publicly traded, growth-oriented education and workforce solutions organization is seeking an FP&A Manager to support its technology organization and serve as a strategic finance business partner to senior IT leadership. The company has grown significantly through both organic expansion and acquisitions, creating a dynamic environment with evolving systems, initiatives, and strategic priorities.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while supporting enterprise technology investments, operational planning, and long-range financial strategy. Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with senior IT leadership to provide financial guidance and strategic decision support
Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the technology organization
Manage and analyze both operating expenses and capital investments related to technology initiatives
Develop financial models, ROI analyses, and scenario planning for strategic projects and technology investments
Perform monthly variance analysis and support accurate month-end reporting processes
Build dashboards and KPI reporting to track financial and operational performance
Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and standardize financial reporting and planning processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and technology teams on enterprise initiatives and projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or related field
7+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting experience
Experience supporting operational business units or serving as a finance business partner
Exposure to ERP systems, planning tools, and business intelligence platforms
Advanced Excel and strong analytical skill set required
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders
Prior experience supporting technology organizations or IT finance environments is preferred, but not required
