    A well-established and growing Tax Law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal Manager to lead and develop a high-performing support team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building systems, mentoring staff, and ensuring smooth, efficient legal operations.

    About the Role

    As the Paralegal Manager, you will oversee a team of paralegals and legal assistants who support attorneys on complex tax matters. You’ll partner closely with attorneys and firm leadership to improve workflows, strengthen procedures, and ensure clients consistently receive exceptional service. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on team performance, efficiency, and client results.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead, mentor, and develop paralegals and legal assistants.

    • Oversee daily workflows, case deadlines, and file organization.

    • Track KPIs such as billable hours, pipeline accuracy, and overdue tasks, and create action plans for improvement.

    • Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to enhance processes and improve turnaround times.

    • Manage scheduling, PTO, and WFH requests to maintain smooth team coverage.

    • Oversee training, onboarding, and ongoing development for support staff.

    • Review and enforce procedures for documentation, billing, and case management.

    • Assist attorneys with case-related tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.

    • 5+ years of paralegal experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

    • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

    • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Clio (or similar case management software).

    • Demonstrated success managing deadlines and meeting billable expectations.

    • Proactive, solutions-driven, and committed to operational excellence.

    $90,000-$105,000 per year
