PA Sechler Law Firm, LLC., is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Managing Attorney with 7–10 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and elder law to lead and grow our legal team. This role requires deep knowledge of Pennsylvania-specific laws related to estate planning, estate administration, fiduciary duties, inheritance tax, and guardianships. Experience in Medicaid planning is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate will combine technical legal expertise, team leadership, and a client-centered approach to serve older adults and their families with integrity and empathy. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all aspects of estate planning and probate matters, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and guardianships under Pennsylvania law. • Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality legal services. • Handle complex probate and estate administration cases in the Pennsylvania Orphans’ Court system, including inheritance tax filings and fiduciary accountings. • Develop and deliver educational presentations to groups of potential clients and community organizations on estate planning, elder law, and related topics. • Collaborate with firm leadership on business development, client relations, and operational strategy. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania elder law, estate and trust law, and regulatory changes. • Represent the firm at educational workshops, community events, and professional organizations to promote public awareness of elder law issues. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania, in good standing. • 7–10 years of legal experience with a strong focus on estate planning, probate, and elder law. • Demonstrated experience managing legal teams or departments. • Proficiency in Pennsylvania probate procedures, inheritance tax, and Medicaid rules. • Excellent communication, drafting, and client counseling skills. • Strong public speaking skills and comfort presenting legal concepts in a clear, accessible manner to groups of prospective clients. • Commitment to serving elderly clients and their families with compassion and professionalism. • Experience with case management systems and workflow optimization is a plus.
