    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Group Home Supervisor. As a Group Home Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our group home facility, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, and managing a team of support staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs and contribute to their overall development and independence.

    Responsibilities:

    - Supervise and manage a team of support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

    - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by implementing and enforcing all policies and procedures

    - Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with their families and healthcare professionals

    - Coordinate and oversee daily activities, including meal planning, medication administration, personal care, and recreational activities

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident progress, incidents, and any changes in their health or behavior

    - Collaborate with external agencies, such as social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure the holistic care of residents

    - Provide guidance and support to residents in developing independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene

    - Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the social, emotional, and physical well-being of residents

    - Handle any emergencies or crisis situations that may arise, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of all individuals involved

    - Stay informed about current best practices and trends in the field of special needs care, and implement any necessary updates to the program

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, etc.) preferred

    - Previous experience working in a group home or similar setting, preferably in a supervisory role

    - Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff

    - Knowledge of developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and other special needs, and the ability to adapt care plans accordingly

    - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and make quick decisions

    - Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems

    - Valid driver's license and clean driving record

We are a family-owned business looking to expand in various avenues to support persons with disabilities within the next year. Great potential for growth and development into leadership/supervisor positions in the near future. Mandala will train the right person that presents with compassion, empathy, and kindness towards others regardless of disability. Mandala takes pride in strong and driven employees, many incentives offered and a strong relationship with the Owner/Executive Director to ensure growth and development. Must be 18yo and pass background checks (no felonies).
