With over 20 years of experience in Taiwan, Li Jie Industrial specializes in pipeline system installation and maintenance, as well as engineering plastic materials. Job Summary
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Engineer who will play a key role in managing technical project scopes, coordinating with clients and vendors, and executing field installations with precision and safety. You will work both independently and in teams, handling engineering tasks from planning to final commissioning.
This role requires fluency in both English and Mandarin, as you’ll interface regularly with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and international partners. Expected start date: September 1, 2025
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise on-site installation of industrial piping systems (e.g., PVC, CPVC, PFA, PVDF)
Manage material planning, delivery tracking, and job site coordination
Review and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and client specifications
Conduct system testing, leak checks, and final quality assurance inspections
Liaise with clients to understand technical requirements and provide project updates
Monitor job progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols
Maintain detailed project documentation, as-builts, and handover reports
Provide technical guidance to junior staff or subcontractors when needed
Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of hands-on engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor or chemical plant environments
Familiar with industrial piping materials and tools; experience with thermoplastic piping systems preferred
Proficient in reading and creating P&ID diagrams, construction drawings, and equipment schematics
Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office suite
Strong technical judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Fluent in English and Mandarin
