Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to manage and process employee payroll, handle payroll tax calculations and filings, and maintain accurate payroll records. This role also involves coordinating with external accounting firms in Taiwan to ensure compliance and smooth cross-border tax and payroll reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
Expected start date: January 5, 2026
Responsibilities
· Serve as the main point of contact between the company and external accounting firms for payroll-related matters.
· Collaborate with Accounting on payroll journal entries, payroll funding, and month-end payroll reconciliation.
· Reconcile payroll data with external accounting firms and provide required documentation for audits or tax reporting.
· Assist in preparing and submitting payroll tax filings, certified payroll reports, and other regulatory forms (including DBA compliance where applicable).
· Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, local, and government contract requirements, including prevailing wage regulations.
· Maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and supporting documentation for internal review and external audits.
· Provide bilingual support (English & Mandarin) for employees on payroll inquiries and documentation.
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
· Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or similar industries
· Familiarity with U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
· Experience working with external accounting firms or auditors is a plus
· Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
· High level of accuracy and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
