Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assistant to support our Quality Department by maintaining documentation, assisting with inspections, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
Expected start date: December 1, 2025
Responsibilities • Assist the Quality Department in daily operations including document control, inspection record keeping, and quality reporting • Support quality engineers in conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections for piping materials (e.g., PVC, CPVC, PFA, PVDF) and fabricated components • Prepare and maintain inspection checklists, calibration records, and nonconformance reports (NCRs) • Coordinate with the Engineering and Production teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and internal quality standards • Assist in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) documentation, and follow-up tracking • Organize and file quality-related documents such as certificates of conformance (COC), test reports, and supplier quality documentation • Support quality audits and client inspections by preparing necessary records and assisting with communication • Help translate technical or quality-related documents between Mandarin and English as needed • Assist in training coordination and continuous improvement activities related to quality procedures and safety compliance • Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO/quality management system requirements, and site safety regulations
Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field • 0–3 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing inspection, or engineering support (experience in industrial or piping systems is a plus) • Basic understanding of inspection processes, measurement tools (calipers, gauges), and quality documentation practices • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with quality management software or databases is a plus • Good bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin) is a plus
