    Job Summary

    We are hiring a Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance during pipeline system installations and other on-site engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting safety audits, training workers on safety procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

    Expected start date: September 1, 2025

    Responsibilities

    Conduct on-site safety inspections and risk assessments

    Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations

    Lead toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and periodic training for workers

    Investigate incidents, document findings, and propose corrective actions

    Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety records

    Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop site-specific safety plans

    Support the use and proper storage of PPE, hazardous materials, and safety signage

    Provide bilingual (EN/CH) communication to ensure safety understanding among all team members

    Qualifications

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field

    2+ years of safety-related experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering settings

    Familiarity with OSHA standards, job hazard analysis, and PPE protocols

    Fluent in both English and Mandarin

    First Aid, CPR, OSHA 30 certification is a plus

    Able to work independently, communicate clearly, and handle urgent safety situations
