JOB DESCRIPTION: The Case Manager will assist members who have extensive or complex treatment plans with customer care and navigation of insurance coverage and supporting services

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a single point of contact for ManhattanLife members to fully utilize all insurance benefits and ancillary services available with the member’s plan
• Coordinate claim filing, provider negotiation, balance billing, Teledoc services, provider networks, and other elements of a member’s insurance that may be difficult for a member to handle on their own
• Ensure that the member is assisted with information flow among the various coverage entities involved in each case
• Assist management in constantly improving the claims experience of our members
• Maintains ongoing customer case load for regular outreach and management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in a social science, psychology, public health, social work or related field
• 2+ years of Case Management experience is preferred
• Clinical experience, Provider experience, or medical billing experience is preferred
• Strong social work skills included phone, chat, email, and in-person member communication
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification is helpful
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong PC skills (Microsoft office)
• A passion for helping our members
