Job Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food under the direction of manager. Serve food including plating/wrapping foods to be served. Set-up banquet tables or for lunch meetings. Operate cash register; count back money. Responsible for general clean-up of restaurant and kitchen area. Responsible for keeping dishes and other kitchen equipment clean. Responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and rotating food items in storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers. Delivers food items to various locations as requested. Segregate and remove trash. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Load/unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by manager, i.e., cash register closeout at end of shift, open/close snack bar, etc. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary Arts degree a plus. 6 months of kitchen experience preferred. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Medium strength. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test.
