Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an Integration Engineer for a 100% remote position based in Dublin, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Build a Healthcare Interoperability environment from scratch and be integral to the implementation of integration between healthcare systems.
• Architect and implement new HL7 interfaces requirements and system specifications.
• Works with product managers and partner with external healthcare systems to implement HL7 interfaces and FHIR APIs across a variety of EMR platforms.
• Develop and Build custom software and integrations for EMR/HL7 interoperability
• Analyzes and resolves all HL7 message data format issues, and any interface failures
• Develops and documents unit test cases to validate software and configuration changes.
• Good understanding of healthcare data transport standard and protocols

Qualifications:

• Working experience with Google Cloud Platform products.
• 3+ years of proven hands-on technical expertise with Healthcare Interoperability Standards including EDI, HL7, CDA and FHIR
• 5+ years as a Data or Integration Engineer
• Experience building integrations with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
• Familiarity with the execution and implementation of one or more FHIR Server(s) and FHIR API management
• Experience with modern development methodologies & approaches such as Agile, DevOps, CICD
• Experience with event driven technologies such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, GCP Pub-Sub, MuleSoft
• Software engineering experience (Angular, NodeJS, mySQL, Kubernetes, RESTful API, Python)
• Prior experience with a middleware integration engine (Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Iguana) will be plus.
