Job Description

At Mann Wireless, your role supports our essential work of making cell phones and emergency responder radios work in buildings. We work in schools, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, airports and more.  In this position, you will travel onsite to customer locations in NY, NJ, MA (and sometimes other States),  communicate with customers, completes RF Testing and Surveys, install cabling and related system components, complete project documentation and provide design and project management support.  You may supervise subcontractors or other team members and interface with regulatory authorities. This role is focused on field based project management, construction management and RF Engineering Management as well as technical installation support.  It is essential that you love to "build" as much as you love to project management and/or engineer.  Many days will be full days of system installation.

Our office location and warehouse is located in the village of Ballston Spa, NY.

Requirements

The qualified candidate has a combination of 4 years total advanced education and/or experience in a related capacity.  

Technical AS or BS (Engineering, Engineering Tech, Construction Management) or related military experience is highly desired.

• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced computer skills; including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and keyboarding proficiency
• Project Coordinator/Project Management experience
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task in a busy office
• Experience with Computer-ease, Sage, Timberline, or other related ERP solutions helpful
• Demonstrates a consistent willingness to “pitch-in”, doing whatever is necessary to get the job done. Must be hands-on! This position has physical components, including lifting.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, subcontractors, and co-workers.
• Possesses a dependable mode of transportation with a valid NY Drivers’ License.
• Able to demonstrate a clear and safe driving record.
• Experience working with confidential information
• Knowledge of basic construction, engineering and/or telecommunications terminology required- low voltage/RF understanding preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Must be able to work independently and with a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.  Mann Wireless supports a number of sensitive /restricted access facilities.

The ability to work to travel overnight Monday-Friday in the NJ/NY/MA markets is required.  Travel time is compensated and travel expenses are covered.  This is a great way to save on food, gas and on living expenses!!!  Office location is in Ballston Spa, NY.  Must be within reasonable commuting range and willing to report to the Ballston Spa, NY office for in-office work or for materials, equipment etc.
