Manning Asylum Law is hiring a REMOTE legal assistant.  You’ll perform a wide range of both administrative and substantive tasks in advancing our mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum.  You must be flexible - the nature of taskings may change day to day or overtime, with you stepping up to do whatever is needed to give clients the best experience and representation possible.  While you’ll handle things like scheduling and mailing, you will also be the Client Success Manager, which includes serving as the primary point of contact for clients, engaging them routinely, and ensuring they have an excellent experience with the firm. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are thus of the utmost importance for this position.  You must speak Spanish fluently and be comfortable using it professionally - you’ll likely use it every day on the job.  In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy a true work-life balance. Responsibilities: • Work closely with attorneys in serving clients and providing excellent advocacy  • Serve as the principal point of contact with clients, supporting attorney in engaging clients throughout the representation  • Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, handling incoming mail and mailing packets to immigration agencies  • Use various online tools to track and process cases and support the firm’s marketing efforts Qualifications: • Speaks Spanish fluently • Minimum two years experience working at an immigration law firm • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform at a high level with minimal supervision Compensation: $42,000 - $53,000 yearly
