JOB TITLE: CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE
Location: San Diego, CA 92101 (onsite) Schedule: Monday – Friday, Business Hours Duration: Approximitaley 2 months’ Pay: $17 - $20 per/hour DOE POSITION SUMMARY: This position will assist the office with administrative tasks as assigned and operate in a high-volume call center.
· Responsibilities:
· Operates high volume call center - takes messages, directs callers and visitors to the proper office or person, and/or provides factual information regarding programs, activities, and functions.
· Assists in interpreting and applying regulations policies, procedures, systems, rules, and precedents in response to inquiries and complaints from the public.
· Performs general reception duties; receives and screens courier deliveries and legal documents; tracks retrieval of packages.
· Performs a wide variety of administrative duties to support departmental and agency wide operations.
· Receives, opens, time stamps, sorts, and distributes all incoming mail and parcels; logs parcels; sorts and distributes mail and parcels to appropriate persons; maintains and processes outgoing mail, including client and vendor packages.
· Performs additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Call Center experience
· Excellent team player
· Detail oriented and organized
· 1-4 years previous experience preferred
· High School Diploma or GED
