Qualification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manual machinist or similar role required.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tooling
Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
Work Performed
Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders
No CNC machines, all manual machining.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy of machined parts
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Assemble and disassemble tooling for machining operations
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary
Operate a forklift/overhead crane to move materials and finished products
