Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40206. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manual machining tools to produce high-quality components.

This job does require around 30% travel. more info surrounding that will be given throughout the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
• Proficient in operating manual machining tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
