    Job Description

    The Manufacturing Assistant plays a vital role in our daily operations by meticulously following established procedures to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position is responsible for performing a variety of post-machining processes on metal parts and executing essential CNC machine maintenance tasks. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to procedural precision. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and gain exposure to high-tech CNC machinery.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Strictly follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures, while also identifying opportunities for process improvement.

    Perform routine machine maintenance, such as topping off fluids, as well as checking, recording, and adjusting coolant concentrations according to specific guidelines.

    Conduct hand finishing and deburring of parts to exact specifications.

    Maintain a clean and organized shop area to ensure safety and efficiency.

    Manage the exchange of scrap containers and assist in identifying and repairing leaks as needed.

    Carefully sort, package, and label all finished goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy.

    Requirements

    A positive, can-do attitude.

    Ability to routinely lift at least 40 lbs throughout the day.

    Technologically inclined and comfortable learning new systems.

    Successful completion of a background check, and drug test for traveling employees, is required for employment.

    Bonus Points

    Previous experience with forklifts and hand finishing tools.

    A flexible schedule and an eagerness to work overtime as needed.

    Schedule and Compensation

    Compensation: $20.00 per hour

    Available Shifts: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    Schedule: Wolfram operates on a 9/80 schedule. Over a two-week period, you will work 45 hours one week and 35 hours the next. This structure provides for an additional day off every other week, with the specific day to be determined with your direct supervisor.
