Gillaspie Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Buyer - Customer Relations to join their team in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and supplies to support manufacturing operations

Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, lead times, and procurement status

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery

Review purchase orders, contracts, and pricing agreements for accuracy and compliance

Resolve supply chain disruptions and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, quality, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs

Requirements:

Experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying within a manufacturing environment

Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems

Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers effectively

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Two years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
