    Job Description

    We are looking for an Office/Accounting Assistant for our small office.   Part time 2 days per week.  

    You will be supporting the accountant by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.

    Required Skills:

    • Good computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs
    • Math skills 
    • Teamwork skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
    • Posting financial transactions in databases
    • Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks
    • Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
    • Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

    Rate:  15.00 up DOE
