    Manufacturing Engineer 1

    Location: Onsite, Waupaca WI

    Reports To: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

    Employment Status: Full Time

    Travel: 10% or less

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; evenings and weekends as required.

    Pay: $65,000 to $75,000

The Manufacturing Engineer 1 plays a key role in this reputation by collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve processes while maintaining manufacturing output.     Key Responsibilities

    • Manages and completes engineering projects of moderate scope, including planning, coordination, implementation, and documentation.

    • Supports equipment installation, modifications, and process improvements to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

    • Troubleshoots equipment and process issues, partnering with production teams to identify and implement effective solutions.

    • Performs data collection and analysis to identify trends in process performance, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.

    • Leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

    • Conducts root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve process stability and performance.

    • Prepares and maintains manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, setup procedures, and equipment-related materials.

    • Collaborates with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support daily operations and long-term improvements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Plastics Engineering.

    • Minimum of two years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    Work Environment

    This position primarily operates within a standard business office environment, with regular work performed in warehouse, laboratory, and production areas. Employees may be exposed to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, temperature variations (heat/cold), and allergens, particularly when working outside the office setting.
