As a Manufacturing Engineer your main responsibilities may include:

• Responsible for the industrial conception, planning and implementation of new assembly packages
• carry out the conception and design of production processes
• advise construction on design changes and new designs for series and prototype construction activities
• check construction documents and manufacturing regulations for optimal feasibility, taking into account known and new manufacturing processes
• support the creation of work plans and parts lists in accordance with design specifications
• lead the definition and further development of manufacturing concepts
• are contact person for internal customers and stakeholders

Qualifications

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Aerospace Engineering, with a result oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Manufacturing Engineer and a Consultant.

Experience required:

• Background in Aerospace manufacturing is mandatory

• Knowledge of different quality standards (i.e., ISO9001)

• Experience with Standard Operation Instruction (SOI), Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), design drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) would be a plus

• Working knowledge with Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable

• Working knowledge with TiCON is highly desirable
