Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is a critical hire due to the retirement of a long-tenured team member and offers the opportunity to take ownership of manufacturing processes for complex, low-volume electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, drive process improvements, and play a key role in supporting advanced, high-tech product development.

Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and optimize manufacturing processes for low-volume, high-complexity electromechanical equipment.
Collaborate closely with design and development teams to review product designs for manufacturability.
Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and production aids to improve efficiency and quality.
Serve as a central liaison between engineering, purchasing, operations, and inventory teams.
Support production activities involving systems with integrated controls, automation, or software components.
Ensure smooth communication across internal departments and with customers when needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with low-volume electromechanical assemblies or complex systems (e.g., automation equipment, robotics, motors, or similar technologies).
Strong working knowledge of CAD for design review and tooling/fixture development.
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions.
